Significant work remains to be done in this area is one finding of this resource. I thought the 7 challenges identified by the auditors was the most interesting part of the article. The top three are insufficient resources, documentation issues and communication issues. Are the internal auditors communicating with the external auditors about SOX? This was discussed...I had some trouble retrieving the entire article back to the site in which it was originally published, http://www.prnewswire.com, but this summary at accountingeducation.com is an interesting one.
